Exodus

At last, the smell of the sea is filling my lungs once again
When we reach our terminus, I’ll make my home on the shore
All those who’ve answered my call, looking to me for their providence
We will meet this world head on with the force of men with nothing to lose
Couldn’t live with the tyranny anymore
Legend of paradise spoke in lore
servant of the Earth and her whispered will
Please god, don’t make me kill again
This is our last chance no turning back
A new life built from the ground up
Our might is unmatchable
At the tip of the blade at the blast of the gun
Finally free, free of the shackles
Of our former society
Our fate cast out to sea
Can we live in peace?

Disharmony

I march to the pace of the stars spiraling above
No man or Captain I trust
Leave your life forget who you are
No need to grieve
An oath I never fulfilled
A change to make it right
My teeth itch as I bite harder and harder
At the edge of the world there lies our new homeland
I'll make it so no matter the cost
I burnt every bridge that leads us back
Any resistance met by force
Kill again like we killed before
This is our destiny men
Seize these days, they may be our last
Seek a new beginning
Death march across the land
Leap into a lifetime of death
The only thing that has my back
Searching for utopia
It takes a lifetime not to break
Now you morph into the very thing we are trying to escape
Metamorphosis into bliss
Kingdom in heaven we return
Waiting for the sun to climb
Out of the eclipse with born eyes
Delusional and blind
Beyond rational as you
Ignore every sign
As we sail into a hole of death
With smiles on our faces

Landing

Glacier Eater - Landing
As we approach the towering cliffs
A small break and a passage in
A narrow ravine that leads us through the gorge
But I see a light ahead
I can smell the dewey sweet breeze
From a cave mouth to abundance
As we hear the birds calling!
Welcoming!
Warning!
Foreboding!
“This is our home, men! Make it ours
Take what we need, level the trees
Show this island a dominant species
Take to the hunt, kill all you see
Tonight we feast on the flesh, the fruits of the land.”
Rivers tumble through the forest
Trees touch the sun
Roots wrap around their souls and plant hearts in the soil
Walk the labyrinth carved long ago
Ancestral path
Sacred ground
The land swells with blood
Designs of prosperity
Etched into soil
Meditations
Welcome to our sanctuary
Watching
Waiting
Holding
Take a breath of the blood boiling beneath your feet
Everything you find belongs to me
Prepare for the taste of death on your tongue
A tidal wave of death yet to come
A stranger emerges from the trees staring patiently
Crawling into my soul
Shattering all feeling of peace
The mountains howl
Yet the people do not speak
My heart sinks like an anchor plummeting to the floor
Revelations of ensuing blood drip from my eyes
Now the earth shakes below
Yet the people stand their ground
Steam rose from the mountains
Omen of extinction
Erupted from holy peaks
Your stench spreads gloom (doom?)
Stone of the earth
Bark of the trees
Split and decay
Fell shadow you cast on our shore
Why are you here?

Massacre

Glacier Eater - Massacre
It began in a flash
A loosed arrow flying from the treeline
One of ours pierced through the neck
As they charge
Our first rounds volley fired
Wave after wave
Falls under the wrath of lead
Merciless slaughter, over and over
They fall
This isn’t survival
This isn’t war
This is murder
Slaughter of innocents
For them the sun will never rise again
I know you won't smell the ashes burn as you walk away
I know you have no idea of the chaos you create
I know you can't hear the earth weep as you sink daggers into her
I hold onto my heart as they charge into peril
We don’t live unless we fight
I won't walk, I won't crawl
We won't give up the fight until our last breath
Alas, there is some fight within them
They don’t live unless they fight
As they charge, as they fall
They are not giving up, kill every last man
Fall back! We are spilling so much blood
As the mountain spews its own out
A massive violent cloud of ash is blackening the sky

Glacier Eater - Grief
Lost souls
Earth soaked in blood
We thought ourselves so mighty and dreadful
We fell all the same
Full of grief and shame
A sign of rain

Tempest

|

Glacier Eater - Tempest
The wind came ripping
Whipping rain like lead
The sea below begins to churn
A violent black
Moon and stars hidden
We are enveloped
In storm, in death, in madness
Five men lost
A skeleton crew
Reduce all sails
The beams are cracking
Our fate lies at the mercy…
Haunted by the demon I used to be
We drown for everything
All our sins washed into the sea
They feed the waves crashing
Upon us, death begets death
The gods exact a righteous vengeance
A broken vow, forgotten pledge
I pay for everything
Waves crash
We plow straight through
A wet death
Final hour horrifying
Our fate lies at the mercy of tempest

Glacier Eater - Homeward
Darkness surrounds me
Arrogance has turned your blood to lead
pulling you under in a current of reprisal
taking lives as if you walk on water
The reaper's cackle chills my bones
Rattles my will
Leaves me to the shadows
Little King, why do you set these fires ablaze?
I am only what you needed from me
A monster you needed to escape
a greater evil
We fled and I bled for you, for all of us
I forged our path in force
don't think yourselves so innocent
I only gave the orders
you were fingers pulling the triggers
Raiders!
The barrel man cries out
A dark ship rapidly gaining
And now another fight on our hands
now returning fire
The cannons blaze the air is thick
With hostility
Prepare, they're going to board us
